Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with 0–3 years of experience to develop their career in insurance defense litigation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, a passion for litigation, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a diverse caseload involving insurance defense matters, including commercial litigation, property damage, and professional liability claims.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Develop and execute effective case strategies while providing sound legal advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with experts to prepare cases for trial and evaluate key evidence.
  • Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure effective representation.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensure: Admission to the Washington State Bar.
  • Experience: 0–3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of insurance law and defense strategies.
    • Exceptional analytical, research, and legal writing abilities.
    • Outstanding time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • A proactive team player with the ability to work independently.
